The Fattened Caf

Charlene and Darren are who we like to call modern superheroes. Aside from being new parents and working full-time jobs, they run a smoked meat catering business and host monthly Filipino pop-ups at Earthbound Beer on Cherokee Street called the Fattened Caf. Serving up chicken adobo, fragrant sinangag (garlic rice), and pork skewers, they hope to create community around their food and spread awareness about the Philippines and their culture. Just like how Lola (grandma in Tagalog) taught them.
